Gene Lenore
Gene Lenore Media (formerly Gene Lenore Productions, Red River Productions) operates under the guidance and leadership of Gene Lenore, a veteran broadcaster, newscaster, film maker, and documentarian. An award-winning creative talent with more than 25 years of experience in television, video, film and print. A former television and print journalist, he is a veteran writer, producer and director with a proven track record of taking projects from conception to completion.
Entering the television news field as a writer/photographer at WFAA-TV in Dallas, he has held a number of important news positions at several stations including news director, news anchor, reporter, producer, assignments editor and public affairs producer and host.
While in Washington, D. C., he worked at National Public Radio and the Voice of America before returning to Texas where he re-entered the television news field. He left broadcast journalism to enter the field of corporate and industrial video production.
Today he is producing award-winning videos for a diversity of clients. In addition to producing videos, he also works as a freelance screenwriter and has written/co-written a number of television documentaries that have aired on the Smithsonian channel.
